Top 50 Countries With Highest Christian Persecution In 2022

Have you thought about living in a country where there is high religious suppression? Your freedom is trampled upon like mud? Honestly, we all want peace, love, and Unity. Unfortunately, some humans act like wild animals. They chase, kill and eat their prey.
The latest report about Christian persecution in 2022 is out. Guess what? Nigeria has 4 out of 5 martyrs, China has 3 out of 5, and the worse of all in Afghanistan.
Taliban slowly took control last year and are now gradually executing their evil plans and enmity against people who follow Jesus Christ.
It’s a long list containing 50 countries that have targeted to destroy the Christian faith. “Open data” has been categorized in different lists.
Afghanistan is the worse country in the world where Christian persecution is taking place. Data collected by “Open Doors” has baffled many Christians around the world.
The enemy is working so hard to make this world an unsafe place for Christians. But God’s grace, love, and power will always locate his children. We indeed believe that we are travelers in this world. Heaven is our eternal home.
“This year’s findings indicate seismic changes in the persecution landscape,” said David Curry, president of Open Doors USA.
If Afghanistan is the number 1 Christian persecution country —then which comes number two. It is North Korea. A new anti–reactionary thought law has brought about an increase in Christian arrests and house church closures in North Korea.
This is not a joke. Lord come and save your children.
The Number Of Persecution Is Always Getting Worse
The data release indicates That 360 million Christians live in nations with high levels of persecution or discrimination. This means 1 in 7 Christians worldwide, including 1 in 5 believers in Africa, 2 in 5 in Asia, and 1 in 15 in Latin America.
It is happening around the world and it seems never to stop. This is a part of fulfillment in Bible prophecies.
“Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. You will be hated by all the nations because of my name.” (Matthew 24:9)
This inhuman act is mainly done by Islamic extremists. There has been a record of continuous persecution for several years.
Interestingly, for the first time in 29 years of tracking, all the 50 countries scored high enough to register “very high.” So this kind of madness is always going higher.
The emergence of Covid-19 also paved way for more Christian faith suppression. Other minority groups have been having their share of this madness.

Don’t forget to pray for all Christians around the world —especially those going through persecutions.
