The Bible says, tomorrow is not promised and that is very true. Many have been shocked about the death of a woman of God who is highly cherished and respected by her Church and many others.
A 61-year-old Brooklyn Pastor has met her untimely death. According to sources, she had a home dispute with her 40-year son Kenji Francis. During the dispute, he stabbed his mother multiple times leaving her dead. It happened at their home on Wyona Street near Livonia Avenue in New Lots.
This gruesome incident happened over the weekend. Tracey Sydnor, who happens to be the executive pastor of Upper Room Baptist Church in Bedford-Stuyvesant is now dead. University Hospital Medical Center confirmed her death when Sydnor was rushed there for medical help.
The son has been apprehended by the police. He has been charged with unlawful activity-dangerous weapon rap, authorities said.
It is unclear what the reason could be. An investigation is still going on. A situation like this leaves people’s jaws dropping. Because a son being so aggressive to kill a mother is hard to understand.
Often, people end up attributing these kinds of crimes to the devil. Further reports have revealed that Francis has no criminal record or mental health issue.
So they are yet to find out the actual problem that brought about Pastor Tracey Sydnor’s death.
The Senior Pastor of her Church Bishop J. Carl Henderson has urged church members and loved ones to remember the bereaved family in prayers:
“Please keep the Sydnor, Francis, Chambers, and Upper Room Family in prayer as we mourn the loss of our Mother, sister, cousin, friend, and Executive Pastor, Pastor Tracey Sydnor,” he posted to Facebook. “Further information will be released in the days to come.”
In a Facebook post, many have been sharing their condolences. Another post sighted on Facebook says she was appointed as a Pastor just two months ago; that is around last year November and this sad event has happened.
