Putting the heads of demons under your feet and crushing them shows real authority and victory from God.
In the wake of life, many Christians come to the realization of how they’ve allowed the devil to mess up with their lives. They barely know the power God had given them to crash the heads of the serpents, scorpions and lions. (Luke 10:19)
As a living soul and a child of God, the blood of Jesus has given you the authority to overcome any spiritual attack or any life challenges.
This piece of content is a reminder of your victory over the Devil. The Bible reads:
“You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
Yes! You have already conquered the devil —as well as your fears, pains and all the crazy challenges. All you need is to be grounded in the faith. The blood of Jesus has redeemed us from the powers of darkness. Even if we die today —salvation is ours. So there is nothing to fear.
Crashing The Enemy’s Head Under Your Feet
Why the head under your feet?
The head of every creature is the most important part of the body. Have you noticed that? Well, let me explain it a little bit.
You see, the head embodies the brain —which is a powerful weapon of reasoning or coordination. The head holds the senses of taste, hearing and seeing.
Now, I guess you get the point now. If you crash the heads of lions, cobras and scorpions under your feet —they will surely die.
The Bible likens the devil, his agents, and their crafty devices to such animals. The head is a very important part that needs to be destroyed. So if you can overcome life challenges, demons and other painful situations, you will enjoy a great sense of relief. You will again see progress, success and happiness in your life.
“Indeed God strikes the heads of his enemies, the hairy foreheads of those who persist in rebellion.” (Psalms 68:21)
God knows the head is the most important thing to destroy — do the same thing… game over!
In Psalms 74:14, it reads that God crushed the heads of Leviathan. Such a great sea monster is powerless when the head is crushed.
Crushing the heads of the devil or enemies is very important. Bear in mind that the feet(sole) are the lowest part of the power.
In other context, the Bible says; you will be the head —not the tail. So it’s obvious —the head signifies ‘life’ or victory.
So as the Bible says you will crush the heads of snakes, lions and cobras “under your feet” it signifies a complete victory.
This victory over the enemy has been made available for us through the blood of Jesus.
In the battle between the Israelites and the Philistines, David killed Goliath and beheaded him. (1 Samuel 17) On the other hand, after Saul’s disobedience, the Philippines attacked Israel, conquered them, killed Saul and beheaded him. When the head is gone, there is nothing left.
He has thought us to fight the devil by crashing his head under our feet. In fact, it is time every Christian rises and uses the given power from God to overcome any challenge that will crop up in his life.
Psalms 91:13 also made reference to the head of the devil and the feet of faithful believers.
By knowing this simple truth; we can take bold steps against the devil, his agents and all life challenges by crushing them under our feet like mud. We condemn or rebuke the devil and raise the name of our Lord Jesus Christ higher!
If you call yourself a Christian today, you must be very confident in the Lord that you can crush and destroy any demon that will attack you.
Since you have taken Jesus Christ as your redeemer, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)
There is power inside you. That power comes from God so be strong and know that whatever the enemy will fashion against you will be fruitless.
You are too strong to lay low for the devil. Pray often and ask God to help you fight the good fight onto the end.
May Satan, his agents and all his plans be under your feet now and forevermore. May you be able to destroy all the strongholds of your enemies and leave their headless bodies scattered in Jesus’ name. Amen!
