Rapper Kodak Black among 4 Others wounded at Justin Bieber’s Afterparty Concert in LA. He performed toward the Super Bowl event coming in on Sunday.
Justin Bieber hosted an after-party concert for the Super Bowl Weekend Performance at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
Reports say Bieber had a 30 minutes performance for a crowd of 1500. He performed in Nice Guy, an Italian restaurant.
Sources say The shooting took place at 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning at The Nice Guy restaurant (401 N La Cienega Blvd.) where Justin Bieber was hosting the event ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.
A fight broke out outside the Nice Guy, an Italian restaurant. Witnesses say they heard multiple gunshots and the whole crowd started running for their lives.
The gunshots wounded three victims: 3 males of ages 19, 24, and 60. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
It has been confirmed that people, including rapper Kodak Black, have been wounded by the gunfire.
The police responded to a call at about 2:45 a.m. PST at The Nice Guy restaurant on the outskirts of West Hollywood.
Two of the victims were sent to an area hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. Another victim was taken to an area hospital after initially leaving the scene, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They were listed in stable condition, Variety reported.
Kodak Black has been confirmed to be one of the victims. The 24-year-old Florida rapper whose real name is Bill Kapri, is said to be in stable condition at the hospital. He is said to have reported himself to the hospital for medical care.
For Kapri, he is easily remembered as the guy sentenced to prison in 2019 for weapons possession and was pardoned by former President Donald J. Trump in 2021
It hasn’t been clear what caused the fight that lead to the gunshots. So far the police are tracking a black suspect who was caught running away from the scene.
The police and other security authorities are doing an investigation to bring any suspect found to face legal action.
No death has been reported so far. Victims are in stable condition.
