A Christian Chinese woman has been detained For Trying To preach the Gospel With Chinese Prez. Xi Jinping and his wife at the State Council
A Christian activist who has been consistent in her attempt to lead the Chinese president Xi Jinping to accept Jesus Christ has been detained. This woman is known for repeating herself in an attempt to lead Xi Jinping to Jesus Christ.
Reports say this Christian activist has already been arrested 50 times for a similar attempt to share the gospel with Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan.
The woman named, Zhou Jinxia comes from the port city of Dalian but moved to the Zhongnanhai area in Beijing, the central headquarters for the Communist Party of China and the State Council of China, asking the president to give his life to Jesus.
For the past years, the Chinese Communist Party has taken radical steps in cracking down on Christianity and other minority groups. Many Christians have been imprisoned and tortured for defying the country’s laws which criminalizes certain religious practices.
The government wants local churches to worship with governmental approval. Without any approval, there would be severe punishment such as imprisonment.
According to Open Doors, China is one of the worse Christians to live in as a Christian. Persecution against Christians is very high. But this brave woman fearlessly drew the attention of Xi Jinping to Jesus Christ knowing very well that she would be liable for punishment.
The Communist Party has been hunting down Christians by installing 100’s of facial recognition cameras close to churches and vantage points.
Again, online Bible sales have been banned years ago. The government has now put up a long-term plan to rewrite the Bible to suit communist ideologies.
There are many that the government is doing to control Christianity. Zhou Jinxia has also been adamant in her Christian faith —hence sending the gospel to the house (Central Headquarters) of Xi Jinping.
Already she has been arrested 50 times. Her latest arrest happened just last month.
The Chinese government has charged her for “picking quarrels and provoking trouble” on Feb. 21, according to ICC. Some past arrests charged her for disturbing public peace.
She has a repeating record of trying to share the word of God with Xi Jinping. This very act is considered a crime against the Communist’s law.
The Christian Post reported that in 2018, Zhou was arrested after she held a sign at the same political event that read: “God loves the people of the world and is calling out to Xi Jinping.”
In March 2016, she held out a longer sign that read: “God loves the people of the world and is calling out to Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan. Atheism nurtures sin and brings down the people. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand; you should repent.”
Xi Jinping and his Communist Party have received a lot of criticism for persecuting Christians and other minority groups.
Even before the Olympic Games began in Beijing, a number of protesters called for a boycott because of the inhuman treatment people go through in China. They termed China a genocide country.
