Emma Watson Takes A Dig At JK Rowling

Last Sunday when Emma Watson was called to present the Best Outstanding British Film award at 2022 BAFTA, she made a comment in which netizens believe it’s an indirect message to J K Rowling.

They believe Watson took a jibe at JK Rowling for her transphobic remarks all these years.

After being called upon for the presentation and grabbing the microphone; within her speech, she said:

“I’m here for ALL the witches!”

Her fans and netizens believe —that remark is a dig at Rowling. That is when they take a look at the recent words used by Rowling.

There is a big difference between their activism. J K Rowling standing against transgerderism and Emma Watson standing in for Transgerasim.

Both are influential celebrities battling over who is a “real woman?” The laws, society and religious beliefs have been the common grounds fueling each other’s respective activism.

J K Rowling Vs Sir Keir

J K Rowling has been in the news for several reasons concerning her stance against transgender women.

She has also attacked Labour party leader Sir Keir Starmer who said “trans women are women.”

The Times interviewed Sir Keir asking him to define a woman. He said:

“A woman is a female adult, and in addition to that trans women are women, and that is not just my view – that is actually the law.”

He came under a lot of criticism last year for saying it was “not right” to say that only women have a cervix.
