Elijah Wood is an American actor and producer.
Elijah Wood was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on January 28, 1981. He is well known as Frodo Baggins — a character he played in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy from 2001 to 2003 and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in 2012. Wood’s mother is called Debbie and his father is known as Warren Wood.
Wood started acting when he was a child. After a lot of struggles to cement his name in acting, he came into the limelight as a child actor with roles such as Avalon in 1990 and Paradise in 1991. He had great support from his parents.
