Something weird happened at Joel Osteen’s last Sunday Church service. 3 pro-abortion activists timed themselves for the best moment to draw the attention of worshipers at Lakewood Church and the entire world about their displeasure with the ongoing changes in abortion laws. They protested the recently leaked Supreme Court draft ruling overthrowing Roe v. Wade.
When Joel Osteen began preaching to his audience, one woman stood up and started stripping down her underwear. She shouted It’s my body, my f–king choice.”
The other two joined the stripping spree and shouted “my body, my choice!” and “overturn Roe, hell no!”
Sources say these unashamed activists are members of Austin-based Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights.
The organization gained massive support when it posted the video on Twitter and Tiktok. It’s been a challenging moment for lawmakers, clergymen, fellow Christians and all concerned individuals. In other words, it has been a battle between Bible principles and the laws of the land.
What Caused This Protesting At Lake Wood Church?
It is believed that the Supreme Courts’ majority decision last month over a draft that suggests that the high court is poised to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal nationwide.
This has been one of the reasons why these 3 pro-abortion activists have decided to battle it out in the house of God. Why? Because the Bible principles teach against abortion while some women believe it is their legal right to abort their unborn children.
On several cases, the Bible talks against shedding of innocent blood and abortion is one of them:
“There are six things that the LORD hates, even seven things that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.” (Proverbs 6:16- 17)
Should we be justified by the word of God or by the choices and feelings of individuals or the laws of the land? Who defines sin; The church or the laws?
The Church is the house of God and everything done there must be pleasing and acceptable unto him. It is very unfortunate these women demonstrated by stripping naked while the word of God is being delivered.
Pervasive lifestyle and moral decadence are gradually becoming a normal thing in our various societies. These are some of the signs of the end times prophesied in the Bible.
One activist named Julianne D’Eredita spoke to KPRC 2by saying:
“I know it seems very outrageous to do it in a church in a private space,” “However, the people that are enforcing these laws have no qualms coming up to women in private spaces such as doctors’ offices and medical clinics to harass them and call them murderers.”
As the activists were escorted out of the service, the audience applauded and Osteen continued his sermon.
These activists continued their protest when taken outside the church. Other members joined the demonstration holding up green banners that read “Forced motherhood is female enslavement” and “Abortion on demand & without apology.”

The Church service successfully continued after those activists were taken out. Joel Osteen and his Church haven’t yet said anything about the unprecedented event. People are waiting to hear something from them.
