Martina McBride was born on July 29, 1966, in Sharon, Kansas. Her parents, Daryl and Jeanne Schiff saw the talent of singing in their daughter at an early age. As a teenager, she used to listen to country songs which helped her become fond of country music. She then used to sing some great songs from renowned artists such as Reba McEntire, Connie Smith, and Juice Newton

Martina signed to RCA Records in 1991 and in 1992 she successfully made her debut with the single “The Time Has Come”. This brought her to the limelight of professional country music. She has been active in the music industry from 1988 to date.
